How did you come to own a Winmark franchise?

I have always wanted to own a store, and one day I saw a Facebook ad for the sale of the Auburn store.

What is one thing you know now that you wish you had known when you first opened your store?

I wish I would have known the amount of hours and changes needed to take over an established store of 20+ years, and modernize it to my liking.

2020 was, without a doubt, a challenging year. What was one way you evolved your business that you will keep utilizing in 2021?

I look at buys and trades differently now. You never know what is going to happen, so I evaluate inventory and train my staff to not always be so conservative, because having a little extra inventory isn't always bad.
